In collaboration with Arkansas State University Department of English and Philosophy, Bradbury Art Museum will host Nonfiction Night at BAM on Friday, November 3 at 6 p.m.
The featured artist will be Dr. Kristi Murray Costello, Assistant Professor of Writing Studies and the Director of the Writing Program and Writing Center at A-State. She will read publicly for the first time from her work, "Almost On My Way: The Time I Didn't Interview Ben Kweller and Become A Rock Journalist,” published in the biannual journal, Barrelhouse. This piece uses a failed writing project as a vehicle to show how dreams and lives are malleable and how brushing up against those dreams, even if only for a brief moment, can change us and our life trajectories.
Nonfiction Night is admission-free and open to the public
