Therapeutic Art Workshop

BAM will host a Therapeutic Art Workshop at 2 pm on Saturday, May 19 in the Bradbury Art Museum and BAM Studio on the campus of Arkansas State University inside the Fowler Center.  

Workshop participants will learn how art can be a coping skill and create a work of art that enables them to explore creativity.  Each participant will leave with an original artwork. All supplies will be provided and all abilities welcomed! Seating is limited to 12 participants so please RSVP by filling out the form below.

OASIS is a celebration of the arts in Northeast Arkansas. Works by local and regional artists will be exhibited in a variety of venues, both in downtown Jonesboro and on the A-State campus. The festival is the result of a collaboration between the Foundation of the Arts, the Downtown Jonesboro Association, the Department of Art+Design at Arkansas State University, Fowler Center and Bradbury Art Museum.

HealthRHYTHMS at BAM

Healthrhythms: Drumming in Response to Art will take place Thursday, March 15 at 6pm. This event is provided by Associate Director of ASU Counseling Center, Pat Glascock, a licensed professional counselor and trained Healthrhythms facilitator.  This experience will be an active, fun evening of guided relaxation.  Drumming empowers people to experience the health benefits of rhythm regardless of musical ability.

This event is admission-free and open to the public. Drums will be provided - but feel free to bring your own!
