Join us for an artist talk from Chenxi Gao on October 31 from 4:15pm, right before the Art+Design Halloween Art Bash.
Chenxi Gao is an artist living and teaching in Roanoke, Virginia. She holds a BFA from Baylor University and an MFA from the University of North Texas. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Printmaking at Hollins University. By pondering her relationship with multiple living spaces since childhood, Gao explores her sense of self in the shifting of cultural and social environments.
Her work is included in the exhibition Stil/Leven, Still/Even, open through November 5.
