You are invited to attend a talk from interdisciplinary artist Somayeh Faal, whose work is on view at Bradbury Art Museum through December 17.
Somayeh Faal was born and raised in southern Iran. She holds both an MFA in Painting from Islamic Azad University in Tehran and an MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in printmaking from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. Her work bridges art and science, and her studio practice involves not only a variety of artistic processes, but scientific processes as well.
Her exhibition Echoes of Silent Migration explores the interwoven connections between human beings, one another, and the natural world around us.
Her talk will be immediately followed by the opening reception for Inspired 11, for which she served as this year’s juror.
