Exhibition Dates: December 5 – December 17, 2024
Opening reception: December 6th at 6:30 p.m.
Juror: Vitus Shell, Assistant Professor of Art at UL-Monroe
Eligibility: Open to all students in grades 9 – 12 whose schools are participating in the Inspired program. Visit Contemporary Classic, Overture, and Meaningful Disruption. Students will then choose artwork which particularly inspires them. Students will create an artwork responding to their selected piece with the medium of their choice. Each submission should include a written statement of 100-150 words detailing the concept of the work they create.
Works Accepted: Results of the selection process will be emailed to all teachers on November 11th. Accepted works will need to be brought to BAM by Friday, November 15th at 5 PM.

Each piece MUST be ready to display, including hinges, wires, hooks, etc. if necessary.
Paper works will be framed by BAM and MUST be matted to fit the following dimensions:

Images: Each artist may submit one artwork represented in a digital format (jpeg preferred) with a resolution no less than 300 dpi at 4 x 5 inches or 1200 x 1500 pixels. By entering this exhibition each artist grants consent for the use of submitted images for reproduction for publicity and for educational purposes.
Awards: Awards will be offered and announced at the opening of the exhibition.
