Bradbury Art Museum PAW Print Project turns Adoptable Cats into Artists!

Today Pudding, Peppermint, and Precious are awaiting their forever home at the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society. Hopefully they won’t wait long, thanks to a special promotional project hosted by Bradbury Art Museum or BAM. Sarah Hernandez, BAM Museum Educator created the Paw Print Project to raise awareness to the growing need for animal adoption in the area.

On Monday, each adoptable kitten became an artist and created a masterpiece with their paw print. The public can visit the Bradbury Art Museum facebook page to see a video of the kittens making their “purr”cassos.

The complementary artworks have been matted and framed, ready to be proudly displayed in their new home once adopted. Community members interested in adopting pets can schedule an adoption appointment with the NEA Humane Society. Be sure to check our social media for photos of the kitten artists in action!!

“Northeast Arkansas Humane Society is devoted to placing surrendered or abandoned pets into loving homes. We aim to ensure that every animal has food, shelter and comfort as we transition them into new homes. We believe that adoption is one of the noblest ways to become a pet parent. Without our facility, many cats and dogs would go without the help they need. It is through donations, volunteers and the open-hearts of NEA residents that we give these furbabies the chance they deserve. If you're interested in getting involved in some way or adoption, please call us today at (870) 932-5185.”
