DRAWINGS BY CARROLL CLOAR
August 29 - September 29, 2013
Carroll Cloar (1913-1993), one of Arkansas’ most renowned artists, depicted scenes of rural life in the Delta. These beautifully composed, haunting images were inspired by his childhood memories. They tell us more about an imaginative boy who lived on an Arkansas farm and his perception of his world than of reality and a simpler time.
