Bradbury Art Museum along with the A-State Multicultural Center invites you to
The Natural Hair Care Forum.
The event fosters open dialogue about the diversity and challenges that come with having natural hair. Dr. Lillie Fears, the keynote speaker, will be joined by a panel of two students and two professionals to examine the representation of African American and Black women in the media, the workplace, and everyday life. Hair discrimination, microaggressions, and cultural appropriation are all issues that affect black women on a daily basis and bind them together. This Natural Hair Care Forum will promote these vital discussions while also assisting in the development and support of the natural hair community.
