WORKSHOP: Glimmer, Glitter, & Other Paint Additives

  • Bradbury Art Museum 201 Olympic Drive Jonesboro, Arkansas United States (map)

This fall, BAM will be exploring acrylic painting techniques alongside the exhibition Contemporary Classic. Join us for a discussion of the exhibition and painter Angela Fraleigh, followed by a hands-on workshop adding materials to acrylic paint to creature visual and textural variety. We invite you to have fun with us as we experiment with paint additives—iridescence, glitter, beads, confetti, plants, and more—to create beautiful abstract acrylic paint skins.

This workshop will be messy, so please dress accordingly.

Seating is limited. Please register below to attend.

*Acrylic paint skins are sheets of paint made by pouring acrylic paint onto plastic sheeting and allowing it to dry before peeling it off.
