INSPIRED 9
REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL EXHIBITION

December 7 – December 19, 2023

Inspired is an annual, competitive exhibition offered to regional high school students (9 - 12th grade). This year, students were inspired by Sweet Dreams, a group exhibition of dreamy and fantastical contemporary art, and Memento-Mori, a solo exhibition of work by sculptor Michael Warrick. They then virtually submitted their artwork and artist statements for consideration by a juror. Through this exhibition, students are exposed to the work of contemporary artists and given an early glimpse into the process of exhibition in a professional setting.

The juror for Inspired 9 is Lana Stephens, an artist and educator based in Seattle, WA. From over a hundred submissions, she selected the works included in this exhibition.
